Block Website tanpa Software

Pada Tulisan kali ini saya akan sedikit menjelaskan tentang bagaimana caranya memblock situs website tertentu tanpa bantuan software apapun. Biasanya metode seperti ini banyak dipakai di beberapa instansi pemerintah agar para staff'y dapat bekerja dengan efektif, kebanyakan situs yang diblock yaitu situs" jejaring sosial (facebook, twitter, friendster, dll). Tapi tentunya bukan dengan cara sederhana seperti yg akan saya jelaskan disini. Ok, langsung aja let's check it out...

Kayanya udah banyak yang tau jadi langsung aja :)

1.Go to your HOSTS file:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC for windows Vista and XP
C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC for Windows 2k
C:\WINDOWS for Windows 98 and ME

2. Open HOSTS dengan Notepad.

Nah. . default Windows HOSTS keliatannya seperti ini:

3. Dibawah 127.0.0.1 Localhost, tulis URL yang akan di block. Sebagai contoh block Facebook.com homepage lalu ketik:

127.0.0.2 Facebook.com
127.0.0.3 www.Facebook.com
dst dst. .

Buat dua bentuk URL memakai dan tanpa "www."

4. Close Notepad dan klik "Yes"

5. Reboot computer.

6. Selesai
